Empowerment Through Skill: Vocational Training for the Differently-Abled

At Radha Krishna Trust for the Disabled, we understand that empowerment is rooted in independence. One of the most powerful ways to empower individuals with disabilities is through skill development. Many of the people we serve have untapped talents and potential that remain hidden due to lack of opportunity. Our vocational training programs aim to change that by providing practical, hands-on learning in areas like tailoring, computer literacy, handicrafts, and other income-generating skills. These programs are designed not only to teach but also to instill confidence, purpose, and a sense of identity. We’ve seen numerous individuals transform their lives—gaining employment, starting small businesses, and supporting their families. By creating a pathway to financial independence, we help build self-worth and prove that disability is not inability.
